Park Balloch Scotland

Balloch Castle nation Park is one of the finest community rooms when you look at the western of Scotland with great views over Loch Lomond and lots of what to see and do.

Balloch Castle Country Park lies regarding southeast shores of Loch Lomond, on the northern side of Balloch, 20 kilometers north of Glasgow .The park itself comprises 200 acres of semi-natural and ornamental woodland, open parkland, formal home gardens, meadow, play areas and shoreline. It's situated on the south-east shores of Loch Lomond, on north edge of Balloch.

The playground is quintessentially a nineteenth century personal estate, developed as a park at the beginning of the twentieth century. Its design and layout has remained mainly unaltered since 1800, at that time the existing palace was built. Inside park you can easily explore the Fairy Glen, Chinese Garden, Pleasure Grounds, Quarry Pond, Kitchen Garden, Secret outdoors, Woodlands and Parklands. There is a loch-side kiosk offering hot and cold treats and refreshments from Easter to September.

The park plays host into Loch Lomond Highland Games every July, and it has been the venue for significant shows including REM, Oasis, and Runrig.
